Be prepared for a night of gourmet treats. Chef Fiona Genevieve will craft a four coursed menu inspired by the seasons rhythms, with an ever changing menu based on Nova Scotia’s bounty from the land and sea; highlighting Atlantic seafood and foraged edibles. Nestle into your seat on the ocean floor, and delve into a fine dining experience with a view to last a lifetime!
Guests will explore & learn about the geological significance of this world-famous beach. Search for fossils as you wander, take in the view of Cape Blomidon & watch the shore birds dance.
We will end our experience with beach bonfire & warm drinks

Discover the serene beauty of Blue Beach, a world-renowned fossil site, with our exclusive DINE WITH THE DINOS picnic package. Guests can enjoy exploring the shores of the Avon River as they look for fossils, soak in the stunning views with Cape Blomidon as the backdrop with a luxury picnic setup waiting for them to enjoy a truly unique and memorable culinary experience!

Gourmet culinary picnic -The talented Chef Fiona Genevieve will prepare a 3 course gourmet meal. The menu is created using local seasonal ingredients: $225 +tx (for 2ppl) *menu will be provided prior to event date
If you would like to invite more friends or family to your picnic please include them on your booking form and we will have everything ready to welcome them, we are able to accommodate up to 4 additional guests per picnic.

Peaceful Picnic ~Riverside @ The Retreat
Let us take care of the little things — well, actually almost everything.
Come enjoy a luxury picnic all set up and ready for your arrival. During this 2 hour experience guests can enjoy their picnic and exploring the retreat property. You may bring your own food or enjoy one of our culinary options listed below.
Our Peaceful Picnic package welcomes 2 guests and includes set-up, clean up and all of the “fixings” such as blankets, table, pillows, stemware, dishware, linens and beautiful decorations all for $45.
If you would like to invite more friends and family to your picnic please include them on your booking form and we will have everything ready to welcome them, we are able to accommodate up to 4 additional guests per picnic
